oh my gosh, that looks so cute and appealing. i feel like even i could do it if i had a sewing machine and had ever sewed anything ever which i haven't. *sigh* someday i'll sew. i love those bags!

You are a natural with the tutorials. I'm not much for sewing, but maybe Brian would want to make some of these! Hee.

I love this! I am going to have to make one. I got a sewing machine for my birthday, but I haven't made anything yet. These bags would be fabulous!

Thanks for this tut! It is on my list of ones to try - I made a different drawstring bag from a different tut, but it has raw edges, so I was glad to see that yours was reversable! I have linked to this tut on my little bloggy-blog: http://tingaling.wordpress.com/2008/09/30/a-gift/

I'll let you know how it goes once I find the time to make one!

Thanks again!

Hey, I love this tutorial. I made some of these this week for a birthday party and I plan to make some more. What a great idea for a little boy. It is so hard to find ideas for boys... thanks!
You can see them on my blog. dixiemango.wordpress.com

Oh, a million thanks. I know this is a simple project - but I'm a newbie! All the other tutorials I found left raw edges around the casing - dislike! Made 2 of these as gift bags. So easy, so lovely. (pic on the blog, June 15 post).

Thank you!

Hi Jessica,
What a great tutorial and what a fantastic end product! I also love the fact there are no raw seams and everything is neat and tidy! I've made about 10 or so now in all different sizes (forgot to take photos of them all!) There's a couple of photos on my blog:

(Don't know how to hyperlink it- sorri)

Thanks ;)
