this kid.
slays me.
he isn't good all the time.
he throws stuff at his brother.
many times bowls full of pretzels, popcorn or grapes end up scattered all over the floor. mysteriously.
most of the time he is teetering on the edge of a tantrum.
forget about dining out.
forget about peaceful afternoons napping and relaxing.
forget about getting anything done. at all.
but...
count on at least fifteen minutes of every hour laughing your ass off and wondering how you lived so long without this little person.
oh, max. you are my love. mama, dada and teeny are all so lucky.
plus, anyone who can rock a crappy, home done hairdo by yours truly, is pretty darn special.

some ings...
listening to... calvin harris.
watching... the daily show. finally back on the air.
sniffing... nasturtium from my garden. all of the original vines and flowers are gone but i still have one little stem that keeps on growing roots and flowering. i keep it in my kitchen and its sweet fragrance surprises me daily. so yummy.
playing... with homemade playdough. this stuff is so easy and fun. i will never buy a tub of playdoh. no way.
sewing... pants! pj pants. for myself. whoa. i hardly ever sew stuff for myself. i cut up my favorite pair of pj pants to make a pattern. i used some clearance fabric from spotlight that i would have picked out even if it was not on sale. i love my new pants. here they are with my teeny guy.
cooking... soup. it is SO not soup season here. all i want to do is make soup, roast veggies and drink tea. my brain is still in seattle.
photographing... everything. seems that everywhere i look i see a photo. feels good to be inspired by the world around me. the light here is very special.
killing... fleas. damn fleas. poor otis. it is under control now. don't worry.
coveting... amazing art by e.soule. i need those block prints!
teasing... you. here is a sneak peek at the project i am working on. almost done. just a few little things to wrap-up and then i will be ready to share.
loving... being a mama. these two kids are amazing. i am a lucky gal.
blogging... can you believe it? me either.
